Tulsa is a long way from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada – the place where Lisa Fuller began her career. She was born to sing and was performing on national television at age 3. She learned musical diversity singing bluegrass, gospel, country, and pop at local events while growing up.

A love for musical theatre developed in the young singer as she tackled roles in musicals Jesus Christ Superstar and Anything Goes. Her versatile voice – reminiscent of Patsy Cline – brought her a 1st place finish in Canadian Open Singing Competition. With that acclaim under her belt, at age 16, Lisa headed south to Nashville, Tennessee, where she recorded her first CD, which won two international awards with the Independent Music Association. After touring and promoting, Lisa decided to move to Nashville at age 18 to focus on songwriting. Success came again when her first song was published with Christian music giant Manna Music.

But the greatest joy came when she married Steve Fuller in Nashville. Together they moved to Tulsa so that Steve could attend Law School at TU. Lisa took some time off and now has two beautiful little boys, Jackson and Jefferson, ages 23 months and 7 months. Upon Steve’s graduation in May, the family plans to move back to Nashville. Lisa wishes to continue with her music. Says Fuller, “Performing at Lanna Thai has been the perfect outlet for me while I have been here in Tulsa. Lanna Thai has a great atmosphere that is conducive to my creativity.”
